Crimson Desert Mid-Game Dungeon Tier List: Best Farming & Loot Spots

Updated: 2026-08-06 7 sections 5 FAQs

The mid-game (levels 35-50) features 8 primary dungeons spread across Calpheon, Serendia, and Mediah territories. Each dungeon offers different loot, difficulty, and time requirements, making some far more efficient than others depending on your gear level and goals.

This tier list rates each dungeon on four key factors: silver per hour (including all loot), experience per hour, rare drop value, and difficulty/accessibility. The ratings assume you are farming the dungeon efficiently with appropriate gear for your level.

TierDescriptionSilver/hr RangeTypical Gear Requirement
S TierBest of the best -- always farm these8-12MTRI blue / DUO yellow
A TierExcellent options for specific goals6-9MDUO blue / PRI yellow
B TierDecent but outclassed by better options4-7M+15 green / PRI blue
C TierOnly if you have no other options2-5M+12 green

All silver per hour estimates include the value of all drops (weapon stones, armor stones, crafting materials, rare drops) sold on the market at average prices. They do not include experience value or quest rewards. If your goal is leveling rather than silver, the ranking shifts somewhat.

S Tier: Desert Naga Temple & Ruins of Riches

The two S-tier dungeons are the undisputed kings of mid-game farming. Both offer exceptional silver per hour and valuable rare drops that are always in high demand on the market.

Desert Naga Temple (Level 42+)

  • Silver/hr: 9-12M (solo), 12-15M (duo)
  • Exp/hr: Excellent for levels 42-48
  • Primary loot: Concentrated weapon stones, Serendia cuisine ingredients, Naga scale armor pieces
  • Rare drops: Ogre Ring (yellow accessory, 150M), Ancient Spirit Dust
  • Gear requirement: 130 AP / 180 DP (DUO yellow weapon, TRI blue armor)

Ruins of Riches (Level 48+)

  • Silver/hr: 10-14M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Best in slot for levels 48-52
  • Primary loot: Concentrated weapon stones, black stone powder, relic shards
  • Rare drops: Crescent Ring (yellow accessory, 200M), Ancient Relic Crystal
  • Gear requirement: 150 AP / 210 DP (TRI yellow weapon, DUO yellow armor)

Desert Naga Temple is the best entry-level S-tier dungeon because it is accessible at level 42 with modest gear. The layout is straightforward with large packs of mobs ideal for AoE grinding. The ogre ring drop is rare (approximately 0.02% per mob) but valuable enough that it adds roughly 2M silver per hour to your expected income.

Ruins of Riches has higher gear requirements but rewards you with significantly better exp and silver. The dungeon is more complex with elite mobs and mini-bosses, making it less AFK-friendly but more engaging. The Crescent Ring is one of the most valuable mid-game accessories and drops frequently enough to make farming here consistently profitable.

A Tier: Abandoned Monastery & Pirate Island

A-tier dungeons are excellent choices under the right circumstances, even if they are not quite as universally strong as the S-tier options. They shine for specific classes, specific gear levels, or when you need specific materials.

Abandoned Monastery (Level 45+)

  • Silver/hr: 7-10M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Good for levels 45-50
  • Primary loot: Memory fragments, concentrated armor stones, undead bones
  • Rare drops: Witch's Earring (yellow accessory, 120M), Mark of Shadow
  • Best for: Classes with high sustain, players who need memory fragments

Pirate Island (Level 40+)

  • Silver/hr: 6-9M (solo), 9-12M (3-person party)
  • Exp/hr: Very good for levels 40-46
  • Primary loot: Ship materials, treasure chest keys, gold bars
  • Rare drops: Black Magic Crystal (80M), Pirate Captain's Ring
  • Best for: Party play, gathering/processing players

Abandoned Monastery stands out as the best source of memory fragments in the mid-game, dropping 2-4 per hour on average. If you are actively enhancing gear, the memory fragments alone are worth the trip. The dungeon also has elite mobs that drop twice the loot, making it very profitable if you can handle them.

Pirate Island is unique because it is significantly better in a party than solo. The dungeon has 3-person mechanics with shared loot, and the optimal party composition of 1 tank + 2 DPS can clear packs extremely fast. For players who enjoy group play, Pirate Island is actually S-tier for the group.

B Tier: Bandit Canyon & Elric Shrine

B-tier dungeons are solid options for players who cannot yet access S or A tier content, or who need specific materials that only drop here. They are not the most efficient silver per hour, but they serve important niches.

Bandit Canyon (Level 35+)

  • Silver/hr: 4-6M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Decent for levels 35-42
  • Primary loot: Weapon stones, leather, bandit treasure maps
  • Rare drops: Bheg's Gloves (yellow armor, 80M)
  • Best for: New mid-game players, weapon stone farming

Elric Shrine (Level 38+)

  • Silver/hr: 5-7M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Good for levels 38-44
  • Primary loot: Armor stones, magic crystals, shrine tokens
  • Rare drops: Red Nose Armor (yellow armor, 70M), Magic Crystal of Infinity
  • Best for: Casters, magic crystal farming

Bandit Canyon is the entry-level mid-game dungeon and the first place most players go when they outlevel questing. The mobs are simple, the layout is linear, and the gear requirement is very low. It is also the best source of regular weapon stones for players who are still working on +15 gear.

Elric Shrine is notable for being one of the few places to farm magic crystals, which are used for weapon and armor infusion. The magic crystal drops add about 1.5M silver per hour to your income, making Elric Shrine surprisingly profitable if you get lucky. The shrine also has a daily quest that rewards a free concentrated stone, giving you a reason to visit even after you outlevel the mobs.

C Tier: Saunil Camp & Waragon Nest

C-tier dungeons are generally not worth farming unless you have a specific reason. They are outclassed by other options at similar gear levels, offering lower silver and experience per hour.

Saunil Camp (Level 36+)

  • Silver/hr: 3-5M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Below average
  • Primary loot: Iron ore, coal, cheap crafting materials
  • Rare drops: Saunil Battle Axe (blue weapon, 2M)
  • Why it is low tier: Low-value drops, difficult mob mechanics, bad layout

Waragon Nest (Level 44+)

  • Silver/hr: 4-6M (solo)
  • Exp/hr: Average
  • Primary loot: Feathers, eggs, bird meat
  • Rare drops: Krogdalo's Stone (40M)
  • Why it is low tier: Mostly gathering drops, low mob density, flying mobs are annoying for melee

Saunil Camp suffers from a combination of unappealing factors. The mobs are spread out, they hit hard for their level, and their drops are mostly cheap crafting materials. The only reason to farm here is if you need iron ore and coal for processing, and even then, gathering is usually faster.

Waragon Nest is a niche spot that is actually decent for rangers and archers who can easily hit flying mobs, but terrible for melee classes. The Krogdalo's Stone drop is valuable but extremely rare (0.005% drop rate). Unless you specifically enjoy this type of content, you are better off at Desert Naga Temple or Abandoned Monastery.

Farming Efficiency Tips & Rotations

Your efficiency in any dungeon depends heavily on how you approach it. Two players with the same gear can have wildly different silver per hour depending on their route, their AoE usage, and their inventory management.

Top Tips for Maximizing Silver per Hour

  • Learn the optimal rotation: Every dungeon has an ideal path that lets you pull the maximum number of mobs with minimal downtime. Look up class-specific routes rather than guessing.
  • Pull big packs: AoE damage is much more efficient than single-target. If you can survive pulling 2-3 packs at once and AoE them down, you will dramatically increase your clear speed.
  • Use elixirs and food: A 30-minute elixir buff plus a food buff adds 15-20% to your damage and survivability. The 500k silver cost is trivial compared to the extra 2-3M silver you will earn.
  • Vendor every 30 minutes: Do not let your inventory fill up mid-grind. Set a timer and return to town precisely when your inventory is 80% full. This maximizes uptime.
  • Use a tent if you have one: The pearl shop tent lets you repair and vendor anywhere, saving 5-7 minutes per hour of travel time. It pays for itself in 2-3 hours of grinding.

Inventory management is one of the most overlooked efficiency factors. A full inventory means you are wasting time. Use the weight limit upgrade (500 pearls for +200LT) and prioritize picking up only high-value items. If you are at Desert Naga Temple, skip the white-quality trash loot and only pick up green+ items plus stones and dust.

The difference between a casual farmer and an optimized farmer is about 50% more silver per hour. If you are serious about progression, spending 15 minutes to learn the optimal rotation for your class and dungeon will pay for itself hundreds of times over.

Dungeon Progression Path by Gear Score

Dungeons are not one-size-fits-all. Your optimal farming spot depends entirely on your current gear score (AP + DP). Farming a dungeon that is too easy wastes your potential; farming one that is too hard causes you to die constantly and actually be less efficient.

A common mistake is jumping to a higher-tier dungeon too early. If you have 360 gear score and go to Desert Naga Temple, you might only be able to kill mobs one at a time and die occasionally, giving you 6M silver per hour. If you stayed at Elric Shrine where you can pull 3 packs and AoE them down, you would make 7M per hour with less effort.

The best way to test if a dungeon is right for you is to time a 30-minute run. If you can clear packs efficiently (3+ mobs per pull), use less than 3 potions per minute, and die zero or one times, you are in the right place. If you are struggling, drop down a tier. Your silver per hour will actually be higher.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ruins of Riches is the best at 10-14M silver per hour with proper gear (150+ AP, 210+ DP). Desert Naga Temple is a close second at 9-12M and is accessible much earlier (42+ level, 130+ AP).

Abandoned Monastery is the best source, dropping 2-4 memory fragments per hour. It is also a solid silver earner at 7-10M per hour. The Witch's Earring rare drop adds significant value on lucky runs.

You need at least 320 combined gear score (130 AP / 190 DP) to farm efficiently. Below that, you will struggle with survival and kill speed and would be better off at Elric Shrine or Abandoned Monastery.

Most dungeons are best solo because party loot sharing reduces individual income. The exception is Pirate Island, which is designed for 3-person parties and actually gives higher per-person silver when farmed optimally with a good group.

Going from 300 to 400 gear score roughly doubles your silver per hour because you can access better dungeons AND clear them faster. Each 20 AP increase adds about 10-15% to your clear speed within the same dungeon.
